Welcome to ULTIDO! By scanning a QR code and using our web app, you agree to these terms of use. Please read them carefully.

What is ULTIDO?

ULTIDO is a gamified experience platform that allows you to make your visit to amusement parks, zoos, and museums more interactive and exciting by solving challenges, missions, and puzzles. You can collect points, win rewards, and discover hidden areas—all directly in your browser, without needing to download an app.

ULTIDO is a brand of SnapNext GmbH & Co. KG, Rommerskirchener Str. 21, 50259 Pulheim, Germany (hereinafter "we", "us" or "SnapNext").

§1 Scope and Conclusion of Contract

1.1 Application Scope

These terms of use apply to all users ("you", "user", "visitor") who use the ULTIDO web app, regardless of whether they are registered or not.

1.2 Conclusion of Contract

The usage contract comes into effect as soon as you:

  • Scan a ULTIDO QR code
  • Open the web app
  • Start a challenge (e.g., by clicking "Start")

By this action, you agree to these terms of use.

1.3 Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right to change these terms of use at any time to:

  • Comply with legal requirements
  • Introduce new features
  • Prevent abuse

Notification: In case of significant changes, we will inform you with a clear notice upon your next opening of the app. If you continue to use the app after the changes, this will be considered as acceptance of the new terms.

§2 Usage Eligibility and Age Restrictions

2.1 Minimum Age

The use of ULTIDO is permitted from the age of 16.

Users under 16:

§3 Registration and Account (optional)

3.1 Use Without Registration

You can use ULTIDO without registration. In this case:

  • Your usage is anonymous
  • Your data will be lost when you end the session
  • You cannot claim rewards that require identification

3.2 Optional Registration

By registering, you can:

  • Save your progress
  • Redeem rewards
  • Participate in leaderboards
  • Receive personalized challenges

Account Creation:

  • You provide a valid email address
  • Minimum requirements for secure passwords apply.
  • You choose a nickname (must not contain offensive or copyrighted names)

Account Security:

  • You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential

§4 Permitted Use

ULTIDO may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • Reselling or renting the web app

4.2 Fair Play

You agree to:

  • Complete challenges honestly (no cheating, hacking, exploits)
  • Provide no false information
  • Not intentionally manipulate the system (e.g., by scanning the same QR codes multiple times without actual participation)

4.3 Respectful Behavior

  • No harassment, threats, or discrimination against other users
  • No distribution of illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Respect the rules of the park/zoo/museum where you use ULTIDO

Violation: In case of misuse, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account (see §11).

§5 User-Generated Content

5.1 What are user-generated contents?

If you upload or share photos, videos, texts, or other content as part of ULTIDO challenges, the following rules apply:

5.2 Your Responsibility

You assure that:

  • You are the owner of the rights to the uploaded content OR have permission to use it
  • The content does not violate the rights of third parties (copyright, personal rights, trademark rights)
  • The content is not illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to minors

Specifically prohibited are:

  • Nudity, pornography
  • Violent depictions
  • Hate speech, discrimination
  • Advertising without our consent
  • False or misleading information

5.3 License Granting

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store and display in the web app
  • Use for leaderboards, galleries, or marketing purposes (only with your separate consent)
  • Technical processing (e.g., compression, format conversion)

Important: You retain ownership rights to your content. We only use it within the functionality of ULTIDO.

5.4 Deletion and Moderation

  • We reserve the right to moderate, delete, or block content that violates these terms
  • We are not obligated to pre-screen all content
  • You can delete your own content at any time: deletion via email to support.

§6 Rewards and Prizes

6.1 Types of Rewards

By solving challenges, you can receive the following rewards:

  • Virtual Rewards: Points, badges, achievements (purely digital awards without real value)
  • Real Rewards: Vouchers, discount codes, speed pass upgrades, goodies (provided by park operators or sponsors)
  • Raffle Prizes: For special promotions (see §7)

6.2 No Claim to Rewards

  • Rewards are voluntary services from the park operator or sponsor, not from SnapNext
  • There is no legal claim to receive or redeem rewards
  • We are not liable if a park operator denies a reward or if it is not available

6.3 Redemption Conditions

  • Rewards are non-transferable (unless otherwise stated)
  • They have an expiration date (displayed at the time of allocation)

6.4 Abuse

In case of suspicion of fraud (e.g., through manipulation, multiple uses of stolen codes), rewards can be revoked and accounts suspended.

If challenges are organized as contests or competitions (e.g., raffle of annual passes), additional terms of participation apply, which will be shown to you before participation.

7.2 No Purchase Obligation

Participation in contests is free of charge and does not require a purchase.

7.3 Data Transfer

In contests, we may share your contact details with the sponsor or park operator to notify you in the event of a win. This will only occur with your explicit consent prior to participation.

§8 Intellectual Property and Trademark Rights

8.1 Ownership of SnapNext

All rights to ULTIDO (software, design, texts, graphics, logos, challenge contents) are held by SnapNext GmbH & Co. KG or our licensors.

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling
  • Removing copyright notices or trademarks
  • Using our trademarks without written permission

8.2 Third-Party Licenses

Some content (e.g., photos, music, icons) comes from third-party providers and is separately licensed. These licenses do not apply to you.

8.3 Feedback and Suggestions for Improvement

If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions:

  • We take no obligation to use them
  • We may freely use them without owing you compensation
  • You assign us all rights to them

9.1 Availability of the Web App

We strive for a 99% availability of ULTIDO, but we cannot guarantee this.

9.2 Disclaimer for Content

  • We are not liable for challenge content provided by park operators or sponsors
  • We are not liable for user-generated content from other users
  • We do not check challenge instructions for safety or feasibility

Important: If a challenge asks you to do something that seems dangerous, do not do it! Your safety comes first.

9.3 Liability for Damages

We are fully liable for:

  • Intentional and gross negligence
  • Personal injury (bodily injury, health impairment, death)
  • Damages under product liability law

We are NOT liable for:

  • Slight negligence (except in case of violation of essential contractual obligations)
  • Data loss due to device defects on the user's side
  • Indirect damages (lost profits, consequential damages)
  • Damages caused by third parties (park operators, sponsors, other users)

Liability Limitation: In case of slight negligence, our liability is limited to the foreseeable, contractually typical damage.

9.4 No Liability for Park Events

  • We are not responsible for accidents or damages occurring in the park

§11 Suspension and Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You can terminate the use of ULTIDO at any time by:

11.2 Suspension by Us

We may suspend or delete your account if:

  • You violate these terms of use (e.g., cheating, harassment)

  • In case of minor violations: Warning with an opportunity to respond

Consequences of Suspension:

For Entrepreneurs: The exclusive jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany.

These terms of use, together with our privacy policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and SnapNext regarding ULTIDO.

You may not assign your rights and obligations under this contract to third parties.
